Automated External Defibrillation Course
It has been established through scientific research that a casualty in cardiac arrest has a much higher chance of survival with early defibrillation. It is now common practice for defibrillators to be found in many public areas as well as places of work.
This 3 hour course offers theory and practical sessions on Basic Life support in conjunction with the Automated External Defibrillator. It is run over half a day in an informal setting but giving candidates the opportunity to gain confidence in carrying out Basic Life Support, hands on practice in conjunction with the Automated External Defibrillator and understanding of the necessity of defibrillation. On completion the candidates is awarded with certification that is valid for 1 year.
Cost: 8-15 Candidates: £350.00.
This includes manual and certification.
*If 2 half-day courses run on the same day the 2nd course will be given at half price.
