Infection Control Training is aimed to raise awareness of the importance of minimising the risk of infection in the workplace in order to prevent diseases from spreading and comply with legal responsibilities under the Public Health Regulations, RIDDOR 2013 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Infections are often easily dealt with but if they are not managed effectively, they can cause serious problems. This course aims to give an understanding of the legal obligations, the techniques for undertaking an infection control risk assessment and explains the essentials for maintaining a hygienic working environment.
This course is suitable for all levels of employees who have responsibilities for minimising the risk of infection in their workplace.
